Ballasts or Powerpacks as they are also known are used to safely start and run HPS Sodium and Metal Halide grow lamps. These units are essential to operate HPS lights. Ballasts connect your Lighting Reflector to the mains and control the surge of electricity needed to strike an HPS lamp, they also contain some basic safety features to prevent burnouts.
All of our lighting ballasts and powerpacks are CE certified and guaranteed against defects for a period of 1 year minimum and upto 3 years on some products.
