Nutrient Control

Controlling your hydroponic nutrient solution successfully is the difference between an OK harvest or a bumper crop. In nutrient control you will find products that:

  1. Monitor and control your nutrient pH level : (5.8-6.2 for hydroponic systems and COCO).
  2. Monitor your nutrient level in EC : (keep in the range 1.0-2.5 with 1.6/1.8 being a good all-round level to maintain in full growth).
  3. Monitor and control your nutrient water temperature : 18°c to 20°c is fine.

Please note :  Several chemicals involved in nutrient control are concentrated alkali and acid based products which can cause skin irritation and even burning. Always handle pH Down and pH Up products with care and never ever mix them together.
