The Cultiline Maxxima rockwool slabs are different to Grodan rockwool slabs, essentially the weave of the rockwool is aligned in the opposite direction so the rockwool slabs drain and retain water properly when growing vertically. If you are growing vertically we strongly recommend using vertical rockwool slabs as they will give you far better results and yields.
Due to the structure of the Cultiline Maxxima slab is makes it perfect for vertical growing, when you drip feed your vertical slab it guarantees the nutrient solution is distributed evenly.
Each Cultiline Maxxima rockwool slab is 100cm x 15cm x 7cm in size and covered with a layer of plastic sheet that can be slit to provide drainage.
