Calibration fluid is simply a liquid with a constant EC of 2.8 which is used to calibrate digital EC meters or nutrient measuring devices.Digital EC meters will come with a little screwdriver which turns a calibration screw on the meter itself. All you would do is take a reading of the calibration fluid and if it does not read 2.8 turn the screw until your meter displays the correct EC of 2.8.
