Aqua Vega is a two part nutrient for use during the veg or grow phase of plant development. Aqua Vega is formulated for use with recirculating hydroponic systems like Flood and Drain, NFT, Aeroponics and Wilma Pots (when using clay pebbles).The Canna Aqua range of hydroponics nutrients is our best selling hydroponic nutrient. Aqua Vega and Flores used correctly will give you great results. Using Canna Additives in conjunction with Canna Aqua hydroponic nutrients will give you even better results.
How do I use Aqua Vega?
Canna have an Aqua feeding schedule so you can get the best results possible from using the Canna Aqua range. To give your plants a faster start try using Canna Start for the first stages of your plants development before switching to Aqua Vega.Begin using Aqua Vega once plants have become established and are well rooted. Add equal amounts of A+B to your water until you have an EC of 1<=>1.2 and then ease this up over time so when you change over to flower you have an EC of 1.5<=>1.8. Keep your PH in the range 5.2<=>6.2, swap to Aqua Flores two - three weeks into the flower phase.
Canna Aqua will buffer the ph of your hydroponics nutrients solution, in very hardwater areas however Aqua will not be able to keep the ph stable. For very hardwater areas rather than using Canna Aqua we recommend using a hydroponics nutrient that is available in a hard water formula like Canna Hydro, Vitalink Max, Optimum or Ionic.
HINT: If you haven't got one buy a nutrient truncheon which will let you exactly measure your nutrient strength in EC. Without this crucial piece of equipment you will have to follow the instructions on the bottles which could lead to over or under feeding.
