Canna COCO Professional Plus
Canna COCO Professional + product details:
CoCo is a soil alternative for growing in pots that is created from the husks of coconuts. Canna were the first company to provide CoCo growing medium and nutrients, and has now grown to become the most popular growing medium worldwide for both professionals and hobbyists. The sophisticated combination of high value substrates and fertilizers achieve best results every time. With CoCo growing you get the best of both worlds, the benefits of hydroponic feeding but with the freedom of growing in pots.
Canna CoCo Professional Plus is a pure, organic product with a homogeneous structure and no chemical additives. Canna CoCo contains a high number of useful micro organisms, including
Trichoderma , which is extremely effective at combating root rot and plant diseases. Trichoderma is also well-known for promoting root growth.
Is Canna CoCo environmentally sound?
Canna CoCo substrate is a 100% environment friendly product where no energy wasteful production methods are used in its creation. Coconut fibres are obtained from the coconuts’ husks which are a natural by-product that can be harvested throughout the year. Used CoCo medium can be recycled into your garden as it has a rejuvinating effect when mixed into soil.
Canna CoCo usage:
Unlike soil CoCo contains little or no nutrients so you can feed almost hydroponically, in that your plants only get what you feed them directly. CoCo growing medium requires a specific CoCo nutrient such as
Canna CoCo A+B.
When using CoCo growing medium we recomend mixing with Hydroton clay pebbles for better aeration. Use a base of pebbles an inch in depth at the bottom of each pot and mix in 10<=>30% clay pebbles directly into the CoCo. If possible wash the clay pebbles before use.
Feed your plants daily when growing in CoCo

Great Product
I've used a few brands of medium and Canna CoCo has got to be one of the best. It's a joy to work with and the roots love it. Aloe Vera grows well in this substrate as well as other types of desert plant.
