Canna Hydro is a two part nutrient for use in "run to waste" hydroponic systems meaning any system in which the water is not recirculated but allowed to drain away. Canna Hydro comes in Hydro Vega for use during the veg phase of plant growth and Hydro Flores which is used during flowering until harvest. Canna Hydro is a complete balanced nutrient program that will give your plants all the basic nutritional elements they need.In run-to-waste hydroponic systems the growing medium (i.e. Rockwool) is mostly inert (They don’t add or take nutrient from the nutrient solution) all the nutrients have to be in the nutrient solution. An excess of nutritional elements can lead to plant damage but will also end up in the environment. To prevent this the nutrient should be specifically designed for your type of tap water. That’s why Canna developed a Hard and Soft water version of the Hydro nutrient line. This ensures the exact amount of nutrients will be delivered to the plants root system and as little as possible nutrients will end up in the drain water; good for the consumer and good for the environment too.
In the beginning of the growth phase, the plant lays the foundation for its eventual yield. Characteristics of a healthy and powerful growth are vital side shoots and a luxuriant root development. Canna Hydro Vega is developed especially to fulfil the plant’s needs perfectly during this phase. A complete absorption of nutrients and water is guaranteed from the beginning because Canna Hydro Vega is rich in directly absorbable nitrogen compounds, high quality iron chelates and trace elements.
How do I use Hydro Vega?
Hydro Vega is a complete professional nutrient for fast growing plants containing all the essential elements for optimal growing. Hydro Vega ensures a strong plant with large vital shoots. Hydro Vega is easy to use, directly dissolves and is extremely suitable for growing with automatic ”run to waste” irrigation systems.Begin using Hydro Vega once plants have become established and are well rooted. Add equal amounts of A+B to your water until you have an EC of 1<=>1.2 and then ease this up over time so when you change over to flower you have an EC of 1.5<=>1.8. Keep your PH in the range 5.8<=>6.2, Feed your plants 1 to 3 times a day (depending on stage of growth) and try and get 10% to 20% run off each time.

HINT: If you haven't got one buy a nutrient truncheon which will let you exactly measure your nutrient strength in EC. Without this crucial piece of equipment you will have to follow the instructions on the bottles which could lead to over or under feeding.
