Min/Max Thermometer Product Details:
These units include a simple mechanism for viewing minimum and maximum temperatures. Highest and lower temperatures are recorded by marker indices which are set by the movements of the two mercury thermometers. These markers have to be reset to take further min/max readings.
On receipt of this thermometer the columns of mercury may have fragmented in transit. Remedy this by holding the thermometer on one end and shaking it in jerky movements till the mercury has more or less realigned. There may be a period when the mercury still looks slightly disjointed in the thermometer but a short period of use will make this disappear.
