Steel reducers are used to step ducting up or down in size. The best way to use reducers is to step the ducting up in size as this will help to reduce the noise of the airflow. Steel reducers are available in the following sizes:


Please note you should avoid reducing a fan down with a steel reducer. An extractor fan would slow down and possibly wear out if you try to constrain the airflow in this way.
